The only thing I can think of is "SEX!" That's how my water broke for Abby. For Ryan, the doctor broke it with some kind of large pill broken in half.
Stairs... Not sure if it will break your water, but I do think it helps speed the contractions..
I've heard spicy foods can speed up the contractions. If it helps, I can really empathize.
