OMG

John slept all night last night. From around 8:30 till around 5:50! He is so precious when he sleeps.





I contribute the jammies I put on him last night for the miracle that happened. I'll show you why....

Ice Skating and New Pictures

Kate and I went ice skating today and I think we did pretty good. She loved it. I'm glad because I'm not that great at ice skating. She was very brave and thought she could just go out there and ice skate but soon realized that we would have to hold on to the side in order to stay upright. Here are some pics of our adventure....

I also took some pics of the kids this morning and thought I would share them. They looked so cute this morning.

Kate took pics of John and I yesterday because she thinks she is big enough to take pics with my camera now and so we took turns taking pics of each other. Here is some we took yesterday.

10 Weeks Old

John is 10 Weeks old today. Time has flown by. He is so sweet and such a talker. He screams a lot, but mostly because he wants to eat or be held. He smiles a lot when I talk to him and it just makes me melt. I didn't realize that I could love someone as much as I love Kate, but I do. I just feel so connected with him. I think it is becaus I knew what I was in store for before I had him and I'm not so nervous about what to do. I can just enjoy this time with him. At his latest appt. he weighed 12 pounds and is 26 1/4 inches long. He is getting so big and I'm really very sad about it. Well, gotta go change a stinky diaper.

So This is What Heaven's Like....

They are both asleep, at the same time!!!!!!! Yes, you read that correctly. I actually got Kate to take a nap. It's a miracle. I don't know what to do with myself!!!

All Night!!!!

Last night will mark an important milestone.... they both slept all night! I know it is a fluke, but I don't care. It was wonderful. Kate didn't put up a fight to go to sleep at all. She told me she was ready to go to sleep. No, I promise I did not drug her! Now tonight, they will probably be up all night and I will kick myself for blogging about this!

John is getting so big, as is Kate. He at least weighs 13 pounds, but we will find out on Thursday for sure at his check up. He is relatively happy as long as you are holding him. He eats all the time as you will see from the pictures. He is a cutie though. Of course I think so since he looks just like me! He has been on the road a lot lately and some places he has been is to a playgroup, the zoo, and the park. He did really great at all of them.

Kate is getting so big. Some of the things she says are so funny.

I don't need to wear my pajamas to bed, because daddy doesn't wear any!

I think I need that....

I'm a little gassy. That's ok, we're all a little gassy, right mommy?

I'm sure there are more, but my brain isn't working properly right now. She has started MDO and really likes it, thank God! She is so smart and is a little sponge so I'm hoping if I work with her at home, she will recognize the ABCs soon since she is already counting to 11. She loves to sing and dance and says she is going to be a ballerina. As she has no grace and is so clumsy all the time, I don't see this happening, but a girl can dream, right?
